The VHS (vertical hollow shaft) three-phase induction motor, a featured SEMC product, is engineered with a unique hollow-shaft integrated design, that enables direct coupling with deep-well pumps, vertical turbine pump , hoisting equipment, vertical agitators, and other vertical-shaft equipment—eliminating intermediate transmission components and significantly boosting overall efficiency of the transmission system.

VHS Motors

Vertical hollow shaft motors (VHS motors) are electric motors for deep well water pumps, typically installed in deep wells or boreholes to extract or transport groundwater. Our VHS motors are suitable for water extraction in dry areas like deserts and high-altitude areas, irrigation, hydraulic engineering, mining hoists, chemical agitators, pulp processing and paper making, sugar refining and other applications where conditions are demanding and reliable power for vertical-mounted equipment is needed.

  • Our VHS motors have no special requirements for well pipes or water pipes, making them suitable for steel pipe wells, ash pipe wells, and earthen wells. Under permissible pressure, steel pipes, rubber pipes, and plastic pipes can all be used as water pipes.
