Alternating Current Motors (AC Motors)
Our AC motors are designed to convert mechanical energy and alternating current (AC) electrical energy. Thanks to the significant advancement in AC power systems, AC motors have become the most commonly used type of motors. Compared to DC motors, AC motors are simpler in structure, easier to manufacture, and more robust since they do not have commutators. They can be made to operate at high speeds, high voltages, large currents, and high capacities. AC motors cover a wide power range, from a few watts to even millions of kilowatts.
